 Elective surgeries are performed in the mornings daily to allow patient recovery for PM release, and the remainder of our hours are dedicated to outpatient appointments and care of our hospitalized patients.

Emergency care

Emergency cases are always seen as soon as possible during our regular hours, but we are unable to offer after-hours emergency service at this time.  As the hospital grows and becomes able to support multiple doctors to split emergency shifts, 24-hour emergency services will be available.  Until then, you must contact a larger, multi-doctor hospital for after-hours service.

 Hospitalization

For our hospitalized patients, 24-hour on-site supervision is not possible.  Our video surveillance system allows Dr. Yule to check on patients periodically from home and she is always prepared to drive to the hospital if she observes a problem.  Critical cases requiring close observation are referred to the nearest 24-hour care center in the Bangor area, or in certain cases Dr. Yule may obtain the owner's consent to take patients home for overnight or weekend care.
