Dr. Christiana Yule grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and attained her undergraduate degree from Goucher College before moving to the midwest to attend the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  She graduated with her DVM and returned to Maryland with her three Akitas and housecat, where she practiced small animal medicine and surgery for several years and got married before fate brought her family to northern Maine.  She prides herself on offering the best diagnostics and therapies available to pet owners of the St. John Valley and she enjoys learning and bettering her skills daily.  Dr. Yule enjoys a quiet home life with her second husband, their housecat, and several retired sled dogs that get thoroughly spoiled daily.

Dr. Victoria Swanson has been working at the Fort Kent Animal Hospital since March 2009. She graduated with her DVM from Cornell University and practiced in New York City prior to meeting her husband, a native of Turner Maine.  They recently moved to New Sweden to start farming and are experimenting with northern grapes to establish a winery.  Dr. Swanson's family includes her husband, two dogs, a cat, a growing herd of dairy goats and a large number of chickens that provide daily entertainment, excellent eggs and a small supply of goat milk products.

Stacie lives in Sinclair with her significant other and a menagerie that includes 3 dogs, a cat, a turtle and sometimes some other small creatures.  She oftens pet-sits for clients and is very dedicated to her work at the hospital, providing night and weekend care to critical cases whenever needed.  She is currently training to become a licensed veterinary technician and has completed requirements to become certified as a groomer.

Christina joined our team in December 2009.  After working for many years at a local nursing home, she decided it was time for a change.  She likes working with both people and animals and hopes to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.  She resides with her husband, two children, and several beloved pets in Eagle Lake.

Jessica has been with us since April 2010.  She grew up in the St. John Valley and spent the past ten years touring the rest of the state before returning to the area to settle down in a 150 year old house with her husband and two pets - Fred the lab mix and Billy the cat.  Her compassion and love for animals showed so much as a client and pet owner that we just had to hire her, and her cheerful face has been a wonderful addition to our reception staff!

Allan has been a kennel assistant since late March 2010, and he is quickly learning the ropes and advancing to becoming an excellent veterinary assistant.  He moved to St. Francis in early 2010 from Rumford, ME with his wife, who grew up here and wanted to return to the area.  They currently share their home with one young cat, but are considering adding a dog when the right one comes along.
